About me

My name is Joan and I am passionate about the tremendous positive effects that music has on a child. This is simply because of the feedbackfrom parents.

I am originally from Dublin and moved to the UK 17 years ago and I understand how it feels to move to somewhere not knowing anyone. I started teaching music over six and a half years ago when I saw how much my daughter who was two at the time, enjoyed the sessions.

As a parent, I understand the expenses that children bring, and it can be quite bewildering deciding what courses to take a child to. It's also hard as an adult when you move to a new area, trying to get to know people, so I am aware that these classes are great for adults too and I look back with affection on the times that parents didn't want to leave and wished their child didn't grow up so quickly.

We all want the best for our children. All I knows is that parents come back time and again and rebook and stay with me for years, putting their second and third child through the schemes ...so there must be something in it.
